Membership is open to individuals, corporations, institutions, and students engaged in or supporting healthcare RCM, medical billing and coding, HIM, healthcare technology, automation, compliance, or related services. Applicants must:
All membership applications are subject to review and approval. Approval, rejection, suspension, or termination of membership shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of the IHARTS Governing Council and Management Team. IHARTS is not obligated to provide reasons for approval or rejection. Submission of an application or payment of fees does not guarantee membership.
Members may: Use the "Member of IHARTS" designation during the active membership period; display digital certificates or logos as per IHARTS brand guidelines.
Members may not: Misrepresent their membership status; use IHARTS branding for misleading, unethical, or unauthorized purposes.
IHARTS reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund, revoke certifications or credentials, and restrict access to member benefits. Grounds include: violation of IHARTS Code of Ethics, misrepresentation or fraud, professional misconduct, regulatory or legal non-compliance, and reputational harm to IHARTS.
IHARTS shall not be liable for: employment outcomes, business performance, regulatory decisions, or third-party actions or disputes. Membership does not imply endorsement of any individual, organization, or service.
IHARTS reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Members will be notified of material changes.
